December 16, 2010

Arthur Clark, co-founding partner of Calvo & Clark in 1992, has been named director of policy in the new administration of Governor-elect Eddie Calvo.  He will leave the firm in January to take on his new post.

“Art made a tremendous contribution to Calvo & Clark  over the past 18 years, playing a key role in the growth of the firm and expansion of our practice,” said Calvo & Clark Managing Partner Rodney Jacob.   " He is a wonderful lawyer and friend.  For so many years, Art has worked tirelessly for his clients and our community. We know that he’ll make an outstanding contribution to the people of Guam in his new position."

Clark’s co-founding partner, Champ Calvo, added, “I’m very proud to have been Art’s partner for almost 20 years, as we’ve built Calvo & Clark into a successful international law firm with offices in Guam, San Francisco, and Saipan. Art is a great lawyer and leader and I am sure will be an invaluable contributor to the incoming Administration.  I will miss Art’s friendship, integrity and quiet leadership as a partner and wish him great success in his future endeavors.”
