Top Latino Lawyer Joins Calvo & Clark in San Francisco

Calvo & Clark LLP announced today that James Quadra, widely regarded as one of the top Latino trial lawyers in San Francisco, has joined the firm as a partner in the San Francisco office.

Prior to joining Calvo & Clark, Mr. Quadra was a name partner with Moscone Emblidge & Quadra in San Francisco for 12 years. His previous experience also includes eight years as deputy city attorney with the San Francisco City Attorney's Office where he served as the chief of general litigation from 1994 to 1998.

Mr. Quadra is a trial attorney with extensive litigation experience in class actions and cases involving employment issues, unfair business practices, business disputes, civil rights, police misconduct, municipal law, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. He has tried cases in state and federal courts. Mr. Quadra is fluent in Spanish and handles cases involving coordination with litigation counsel throughout Latin America.

Mr. Quadra is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center, the Chairperson of the San Francisco Unified School District's Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee and the President of the Board of Directors of the Buen Dia Family School.

Mr. Quadra received his law degree from U.C. Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law, where he was an Hispanic Scholarship Fund scholar, and a B.S. in Business Administration from U.C. Berkeley.
